According to Anthony Scaramucci, the second time he heard about Bitcoin was in the Roosevelt Room of the White House during a memorable Wednesday in 2017. Scaramucci recalls that day vividly as it was the only Wednesday he spent at the White House before being fired by President Trump.

In the Oval Office, then Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and two officials from the Federal Reserve were discussing cryptocurrency and Bitcoin research, a moment that shifted Scaramucci's perspective on digital currency. Although he had dismissed Bitcoin as nonsensical years earlier, the conversation sparked a realization that major financial leaders were taking it seriously.

Just days after this pivotal meeting, Scaramucci was let go from his role as White House communications director, which lasted only 11 days. Upon returning home, he purchased a URL featuring SkyBridge and Bitcoin, and dove deep into researching the cryptocurrency. Scaramucci has since become a notable crypto investor through his hedge fund, and his book, The Little Book of Bitcoin, published last year, shares stories of individuals discovering the world of cryptocurrency.

Scaramucci asserts that over 90% of those who genuinely explore Bitcoin end up becoming believers, citing prominent investors like Paul Tudor Jones, Ray Dalio, and Stanley Druckenmiller as examples.

In a notable collaboration, Scaramucci asked Michael Saylor, chairman of Strategy (formerly Microstrategy), to write the forward for his book. Under Saylor's leadership, the company has amassed nearly 500,000 Bitcoins, valued at over $40 billion. However, despite the success, Bitcoin's price has seen a significant drop—over 25% from its peak of $109,000.

Saylor, after reading Scaramucci's book, called him from his yacht to express his admiration but criticized the last chapter. He questioned why Scaramucci would recommend only a 2% allocation to Bitcoin if he believed it to be the greatest investment. This feedback prompted Scaramucci to revise the book's conclusion.

In addition to discussing Bitcoin, Scaramucci shared insights on his political views, expressing a desire for bipartisan cooperation and the need to bridge the divide in U.S. politics. He believes that both sides of the political spectrum have valuable ideas that could benefit the nation.
