Sophia Banks to Direct Film on Bitcoin's Founder

EXCLUSIVE: David O. Sacks Productions, Mark Goffman, and Getaway Entertainment are collaborating to produce a feature-length film centered on Satoshi Nakamoto, the enigmatic founder of Bitcoin. Directed by Sophia Banks, the film draws inspiration from Andrew O’Hagan’s investigative article, “The Satoshi Affair”, exploring the mystery surrounding the creator of the revolutionary digital currency through a blend of investigative journalism and captivating storytelling.

“This film will be akin to watching The Social Network without knowing who the Mark Zuckerberg character might actually be,” says Sacks, expressing excitement about the project.

Behind the Scenes

Producers David Sacks and Daniel Brunt have taken the initiative to adapt O’Hagan’s article into a screenplay, with Mark Goffman on board for adaptation and production. The team will also include Damiano Tucci, Banks, and Arwen Elys Dayton from Getaway Entertainment, alongside executive producer David Seimer.
